Even if the stage or the audio booth look full, we’re always eager to find a place for new skilled musicians, vocalists, artists, and technicians.  There is a place for you!

Sunday Service Worship Team

Musicians and vocalists who lead worship for our Sunday services.  Audition required.

There is almost always space for more skilled musicians and vocalists, even if our stage looks full, so just ask!  Some of our team members are on rotation to give everyone a chance to participate.  We play contemporary worship music which utilizes lead and back-up vocalists (male and female), and musicians of all kinds (keyboard, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass, drums, percussion, and some string and wind instruments).  We do not have a choir or orchestra.

Community Group Worship

Individuals who facilitate worship in weekly Community Groups that meet in church member homes.  Arrangements made through individual Community Group leaders.

Usually requires musicians who can sing and play a simple instrument such as piano or acoustic guitar.  Requires musician to have and use his or her own instrument.

Outreach Worship

Musicians, vocalists, children, and non-performing lovers of worship who reach out to the San Antonio community in periodic worship events, such as playing worship songs at a retirement or nursing home.

Beginner musicians and vocalists are welcome to join us for many of these events, as are non-musicians who come along to interact with and pray for those we are reaching out to.

Audio & Lighting Production

Sound and lighting technicians who operate equipment during Sunday services and special event productions.  Training available for those who are interested but inexperienced.

Audio technicians operate a 24-channel Mackie sound board during rehearsals and services, and are responsible for maintenance and repair of church audio equipment.

Lighting technicians operate a 24-channel light board controlling par cans focused on several different areas of the stage, and are responsible for maintenance and repair of church lighting equipment.

Power Point Production

Power Point designers create slide shows for use during the teaching time of Sunday services.  Power Point technicians operate a laptop during the Sunday services that controls multiple slide shows and videos during pre-service, worship, teaching, and post-service.

Special Event Production

For holidays and other special events, there are opportunities for visual artists, designers, writers, videographers, dancers, choreographers, choir members, actors, directors, and more.
