40-Day Corporate Fast
February 14 to March 26
Once a year our church enters into a corporate fast. It is a time for our church as a body to surrender to God some area of our lives that may have undue dominance or control over us. The hope is that as we allow more space for God in our daily lives, the process will transform us. We will also be praying for how we can personally and corporately implement our church narrative during this time.
My prayer is that our fast will make us not just more aware of our lack of a particular item or activity, but also more aware of our hunger for God and His purposes in our lives.
The fast will end at our all-church potluck on Easter Sunday, March 27
